Hotel Al Bustan, Beit Mery

The hotel has a mix of pros and cons. The rooms need more updating and cleaning as dust caused allergy issues during my stay. The hotel lacks modern amenities like a 'clean my room' tag, leading to missed cleanings some days, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a touch of luxury that harmonized with the historical essence of the place. I did miss having a 'clean my room' tag which resulted in the room not being cleaned on one of the days, but overall, a pleasant experience. The service, led by Mr Fadi and his team, was warm and welcoming once they got familiar with you, although there were minor issues with extra charges like ordering eggs and American coffee. The location, nestled in the upper hills above Beirut, offered a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle, perfect for those seeking mountains and fresh air away from the noise. The dining experience, while friendly, fell slightly short of expectations in terms of variety and sophistication. The facilities were adequate, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
